Over time, that stock pocket can develop fatigue cracks, or the bolt hole can begin to elongate, throwing off the fitment and alignment of your trailing arm pivot. Left alone, it turns into an expensive chassis repair. This reinforcement bracket addresses both problems. It strengthens the trailing arm mount pocket and distributes load more evenly across the frame interface, helping prevent the cracking commonly seen in this area. It also provides a stronger support structure if the trailing-arm bolt starts to open up the mounting hole, helping restore proper fitment and alignment of the arm pivot.
